Hi all,
Recently bought a 2010 Forester and found it has spent most of its life in wilds of Scotland where they heavily salt the roads for many months each year. The front underbody looks great but the rear subframe is very rusty. It's rusted right through in one place and the back of the brakes are very rusty.

I've managed to buy a 2nd hand subframe from a breaker but its missing a few nuts and bolts. I'm sure more will be destroyed as my local garage attempts to fit it!

This is the new one (I need to rub it down and prep it before its fitted):

Anyone know a UK supplier of bolts and fittings?

first try: importcarparts.co.uk. If what you need isnt listed give them a call, they might still have them in stock.

good luck, and welcome to Subaru ownership and to the forums.

I followed you advice and spent £50 getting it shot blasted.
Then I sprayed it with Dinitrol and bought a whole set of new bolts from ICP.
Just need to wait for the new year and my local garage will fit it.
