The only Vermont beer that I ever recall having was a brand named Catamount in White River Junction, which I see is no longer in business. I did discover an over-appreciation for Grolsch, conveniently purchased at the grocery store. (something we still cannot do :icon_frown
I'm not that far from Windsor but haven't yet taken in the Harpoon brewery. I have toured their original (and still operating) location in Boston. Heck, I'm still working my way through the 18 brews at my local!
That's the company that bought Catamount, Harpoon. Don't know if they still offer Catamount or if they just use the brewerey facilities from Catamount.
It's kind of hard to tell whether the Catamount name is still in use. Harpoon bought the brewery to augment its Boston facility. A Google hit on 'Harpoon Brewery' contains text that appears to say (to have once said) that they brew Harpoon, UFO, and Catamount, but clicking through to their actual site only shows Harpoon and UFO.
