Trying to get my 2 magnetic drain plugs. This Canadian site displays a delivery time of 5 to 10 days.

This site is not better than the rest. Once they have your money the excuses are soon to follow.

Custom delays. BS

Why not say 3 weeks or 4 weeks and over deliver than claim 5 to 10 days and leave your customer PISSED.:evilatyou:

Is honesty too much to ask.

While I've never used them people say its hit 'n miss. Some have a great experience while others get delays. I've been told its his second job.

I am in sales and it surprises me that other sales people do not understand a basic principle.

Under promise and over deliver

This guy does the opposite. Over promises and under delivers.

I've dealt with them and had mixed results in the single transaction. It was far from being a small transaction either ($750).
Some parts were out of stock, so delayed the initial shipping date. Then the parts didn't ship to him so things were delayed another 2 weeks.
When things finally went out, one of the packages never arrived. A claim was filed with Canada Post, replacement parts were then sent free of charge... the original items arrived 3 days after the replacements were received in a beat-up package.

He was always quick to respond to emails, but I agree that he overpromised in a couple instances. In the end I was refunded some of my cash because of the shipping SNAFU.

hmm, weird, I ordered some Grimmspeed Gold a week ago and it shipped same day and arrived Friday.. Bobs your uncle. Probably one of their popular product seeing as they are the only CAD source.

you couldn't find magnetic plugs anywhere in Calgary Steve?

My experience has been mixed as well. It was very good the few times I ordered from him a while ago. But the most recent transaction wasn't very good. Took him a long time to reply to my e-mails, and there were delays in deliveries as well.

I couldn't find a magnetic plug to fit a Subie.

I think your luck improves if you are Canadian and he has stock. Other than that......its the waiting game.

Yes, he is quick to respond to e-mails but that does nothing to improve the situation.

I've bought from there 2-3 times and it always been very smooth and very fast shipping. But I am in Canada too...

My Touge order for turbo gaskets was completed fast and furious!

....however, I am amazed at what people will put up with in regards to waiting for tuner parts!
"Can't rush perfection" and "Quality don't come quick" are just the daily bullsiht of this industry....
