That's awesome. Will this be close enough to the Forester tho?

I know we share a lot of Impreza, but I don't know about wheel geometry dynamics in this case.

Tire brand and size: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 245/45-17
Rim width and height: 5Zigen ProN1 17x7.5"
Rim offset: +48mm
Any rubbing: VERY slight contact on rear stock strut, only from one small protruding ridge on tire, basically only made a small scratch <1mm wide through the paint on the strut, only occured immediately after installation and haven't observed any signs of wear on the tires whatsoever and no further wear on the strut after 15k miles.
Suspension: Completely stock '05 FXT suspension all around
Using any spacers: no

Everything so far is now up to date, and I attached the file in post #1.

As it states in #1 the title of the spreadsheet is when last updated.

Thanks for your input everyone.

I'll add the info for our other Foz too:

Tire brand and size: BF Goodrich Traction T/A 215/60/16
Rim width and height: stock Forester S alloys
Rim offset: +48mm
Any rubbing: rubbed on the fender lip under hard cornering/weight transfer in the beginning; now that they've been worn down a little they seem fine

just wondering, what is the widest width tire that can fit on the 05 F XT? I was offered free, a set of 275/40-17 kumho v710's for autoxing. I run in ESP and would love to have R compounds. But, my gut tells me that they are way too big.

Not sure~ I remember there being someone on the forums here with real wide tires. Over 245 for sure. I tried to search, but numbers are hard to search for here!

Maybe someone else will know. In the mean time, if I find it I'll let you know. I'd like their info in my spreadsheet!

I'm posting Ploney's info to incorporate it into my spreadsheet. If there is an issue, I'll gladly take it back off. But since I found it here:
http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=12519&highlight=275*

I figure there is no issue. So the following is from the above linked thread.

Tire brand/size: Kumho V710 275/40-17
Rims width/height: Enkei RPF1's 17 x 8
Offset: 35
Rubbing: No major rubs, but front will need some trimming
Suspension:Megan racing WRX Coilovers, 8K F, 10K Rear, 14.1 inches from fender to center of wheel ride height wise. Rolled fender lips.
Spacers:NO

Do you remember who was running this? I'd like to know how much clearance they had. If I got +50mm offset 18" wheels that would be about 2mm less... would it be too close?
