I'm a relativity new owner and have a question on tire pressures with the 17" wheels???

My owners manual states: 35 front 34 rear.

Door frame label states: 30 front 29 rear.

Both my dealer when I had it serviced and my tire shop used the higher settings.

My owners manual, even though it differs from the door label, states "Use the pressures on the door Label"???

I split the difference, 33 front, 32 rear for daily drives, but go to 35/34 for long journeys. Tyre wear has been even. I also do a 5 wheel rotation yearly.

For the lower trim Foresters, it's 30/29. But since we have seasons here, I usually keep it higher in case it gets cold. So I usually keep it around 33-34 in the front and 1 PSI lower for the rear.

The XT is heavier so it is 33 front/32 rear on the label.

Thanks all for your input!::biggrin:

Mine is a lower level trim package.

As mentioned above, I may split the difference..
