Dear All,
----------------------------
Subaru Forester
Production year: 2006
2.0L engine (no turbo)
AT transmission
----------------------------

Need to replace the 'Timing belt' and (Idler Bearing Smooth,Idler Cogged,Idler Bearing Smooth)

My questions are:

1. Will timing belt kit for 2.5L engine suit my 2.0L engine ?
2. Are they different for Manual Transmission and Automatic Transmission ?

Thank you all for your HELP!

With respect, Michael

Timing belt the same as on 2.5L turbo engine

Hi,
I'm located in Moldova (East Europe)

Actually, I'd already received answer from Subaru Romania (it's the same as on Turbo 2.5L versions)

------------------------------------------
1.The timing kit for Forester S11 from 2006 till 2008 engine 2.0 (204) Normal Aspirated, conteins the folowing items:
- timing belt 13028AA200 or 240
- idler complete-belt no.1 13073AA180 and 142
- idler complete-belt no.2 13085AA080
- idler complete-belt no.3 13073AA230
- adjuster assy belt-tensioner - 13033AA040

2.The same kit for Forester S11 from 2006 till 2008 engine 2.5 (255) Turbocharged , conteins the folowing items:
- timing belt 13028AA240
- idler complete-belt no.1 13073AA180 and 142
- idler complete-belt no.2 13085AA080
- idler complete-belt no.3 13073AA230
- adjuster assy belt-tensioner - 13033AA042 that is it interchangebel with 040

that means the timing kits for 2.0 NA and 2.5 Turbo are the same .

3.but there is one more engine 2.5 (253) Normal Aspirated that has the folowing kit :
- timing belt 13028AA181 or 230 or 231
- idler complete-belt no.1 13073AA190
- idler complete-belt no.2 13073AA142
- idler complete-belt no.3 13085AA100 or 080
- adjuster assy belt-tensioner - 13033AA042

that means the 2.5NA engine it has a diferent timing kit then 2.0NA engine

------------------------------------------

By the way do you know what might cause ?
'warm air to not come from the bottom of the heater' to warm up legs - only forward air stream is flowing.

Sorry for my English ;)
Thank you.
