Dunno if you noticed, but the airbox is now wrapped in aluminum tape. Dropped my IAT's by around 20deg!

Random but I had always wanted an Outback but was unable to fine one I liked when I was in the market for my car. The Forester showed up and I was sold. Still love the Outback though.

That is really weird, especially since it was just in for a completely different issue. Sounds like they messed something else up.

BUT before you take it back, pull the battery on the car, pump the brakes, let it sit for a while and plug it back in. Do an ECU/TCU reset. It could just be confused.

They way I drive, 16mpg is average! Smiles per gallon I guess.

Glad everything is back to normal, or better than normal now with the new engine and all that other work. Your Outback is looking real good.

No, to my knowledge, the mileage is kept in the cluster, which is the one thing holding me back. :/

There is a thread on NASIOC about how to reprogram it.

Sounds like you've got it covered for lost keys except for locking yourself out!!!

I keep the metal flat valet key in my wallet for when I lock my main set in the car, happened once and now never again will I have to call the parents to let me back in my car. Also keep a spare set at home.
