If you haven't been watching the Dakar you won't know what I'm on about. There's a difference between winning and coming first. I always thought the Dakar was the last great motor sport event that was still rooted in genune sporting principles.

Yeah, big shame. Peterhansel won it really but Alitaya also would have won if not for his penalty. The third placed Roma was given the win by team orders. I'm thinking it was sour grapes as Monsieur Dakar is off to Peugeot next year..
