Hello,

We noticed a whistling/whirring noise when traveling over 50km/h (30mph). My wife took the car to the local Subaru service centre today and they said the tailshaft centre bearing needs replacing.

Does that mean there could be something else wrong with it to wear the bearing out? Will it keep happening?

We've done 60,000km (37,282 miles). It's a Forester X 2008.

Regards,
Cameron.

Probably just a bad bearing, all it does is support the center of the drive shaft.
