When my sunroof cover is in the open position, I get a rattling sound when I hit any minor road bumps. Anyone have such a problem? I'm hoping that I don't have to take the entire inner ceiling panel off to fix this problem.

your nightmare has just begun....take it down.
Actually maybe not. Get someone to ride with you. Or actually have the drive thecar and see where it is coming from. If you are lucky it will be just the shade. Ive been watching guys at the shop take alot of them down though. I have yet to "hear" one :wink:

brought mine in 3 times then had a Subaru rep look at it, they sent it out and did whatever, but no more rattle, it drove me crazy for awhile

I have the same problem too; only when the cover is open. I sure would like to know how the dealer fixed the problem.

My '06 moonroof rattles when it's fully open. Not so much when partially open. Is there an easy fix or do I need to get the Subaru dealer to fix it? I think I remember reading that someone had a solution.
