The last time this came up on a Forester, it was caused by corrosion. Check the latch & see it moves freely, if not, give it squirt of lube & you should be good to go. :wink:
Check to make sure there aren't any tools or anything left laying around the edges of the hood (the back, too!) or on the cowl. Then I'd check the latch. :smile:
