As the title suggests, I'm looking to de-cat my Subaru Forester 2001 N/A.

Basically, where I have the car, MoT is not needed and my current cat has issues.

I'm thinking of de-cat as i don't need to worry about emissions etc.

The other options is to take the Cat off and rip out the honeycomb part of the Cat and then stick it back on.

Any suggestions on the cheapest/easiest route forward?

Thanks
Ian

There are replacement cats you can get for ~$50 USD, then you don't have to deal with smelly exhaust in the future.
