Hopefully you've experienced this too and know a little fix for me to do at home.

When depressing the accelerator (calling it fat, useless etc) it seems to work in steps rather than in one smooth analogue motion. It seems to be a bit sticky and heavy meaning smooth progress is a bit of a pain.

Any thoughts on how to sort it out?

You can have this adjusted electronically via a mapper. You can make it more linear or you can make it real progressive.

If yours is really bad perhaps it is dying?

Use something like Silkopen for cables. It's a lot better. Best option is a new cable though if it's the original?

Also give it it a bit of a clean up at the throttle body end. The grease on there can dry out/gunk up.
