Your car is a non turbo, there is not a downpipe. You can use the cat back section but you will have to ad a section of pipe and rotate the flange to fit the non turbo model.

Correct. I installed an STI exhaust on an NA 03 2.5l Forester (my wife's car). I had to cut and rotate the flange. Also, had to extend the tip alittle bit. But that really not needed.

ok, so the downpipe would be useless unless i have my car turbo'd.. right?

is it a nice upgrade to have sti catback installed on my forester? or i should opt getting an aftermarket axleback?

hehehe lol, yes a downpipe wont improve performance on your NA forester......
if you have the monz get some Borla headers and a full 2 1/4 stainless system with a 200 cell high flow cat and only a single rear verax muffler at the tail.
