Hello to my fellow Fozzies.
I have a 09 Foz that I'm installing a after market stereo in.
I will need to run cables under the carpet.

I would like to know how to remove the plastic step sill that holds the carpet by the doors. It does not show any screws so I am thinking it is held in place by some sort of plastic clips.

I would be very grateful for any information on how to remove the carpet.

Thank You
Michael

it has plastic clips that hold it in place. You have to lift it up and it will come off. Just be careful by the ends I bent mine when I removed it. The clips are in very tight.

Yup, been there, I posted pics in this entry: permalink See the pictures captioned: "Power/Ground Along Drivers Side"

Just be patient and pry around with a flat screwdriver. Get a good light in there so you can see where to pry and where to be careful. I also partially removed the rubber door seal along the bottom where I was working - this helps expose the plastic strip that you want to remove.

cheers,
G
