So I just replaced my timing belt. Put everything back together. Got it to turn on. My boyfriend went to go rev it up with the throttle body and it died. No it won't start it acts like it wants to but it won't even register on the rpm gauge like its doing anything. Any suggestions?

You sure everything (tensioners, bolts etc were tight), sounds to me that it jump out of timing,,,,, does the engine turns over? do a compression check.....

Did the pin get pulled that succures the tensioner?

Seen more than one person forget to pull it and have the belt jump.

It tries to turn over. And yes we pulled the pin out. We think it may be the cam sensor?

Well the cam position sensor was replaced and we are still experiencing the same issue. I'm at a loss as to what it might be. :(
