OK, tomorrow I embark on a new adventure with an 04 xtppauto, 17k on it.

Hate the brakes, wimpy tires, nancy-boy sway bars.

What would you do for a nicely but not slammed extrahard suspension? And if I do it in stages,(wheels/rubber, swaybars, springs, etc) what would you do 1st? Of course economy counts where I can scrimp on a part vs. the best for 3x's the $$. Thanks for the anticipated visions.

+1 for new tires (I'm going with Good Year Eagle F1s).

I'm taking the econo route as you are and my deal is...

First:

Tires
EBC green pads
braided brake lines

And then:

F-STi springs
Cobb front & rear sway bar
Cusco rear strutbar

sounds pretty good.

If you want stronger braking than just EBC, go for Roo's stage 2 setup, which includes larger rear rotors too.

I also will do a front strut-fast and cheapish. Any recommendations?

Hmmm... That sure sounds like a great idea. I have to look into that. Thanks!
