Speed sensitive volume can be set in the Settings menu under "Sound Settings" in the HK HU. See page 5-19 of the user manual.

You are right, of course--sorry for the bad info. I have no excuse since I have the same model and remember being disappointed to find it didn't have either that or the multiband equalizer shown in the manual.
