Does anyone know if the road speed limit is displayed in the multi-function display on the Sport trim? Or is it only on the models equipped with nav (i.e. Limited and Touring)?

I could be wrong, but how would the car know what the speed limit is without a Navigation system? Or can Starlink provide this info?

In Honda cars, the lane assist camera reads speed limit signs and displays it in the instrument panel. I was wondering if the EyeSight cameras do it too.

Subaru Specialist here. The speed limit indicator should show in both the screen between your gauges (The Multi-information display, or MID), and the maps in the main navigation screen as well. It is based on your navigation system so you would have to make sure that you had that package when your purchased your Forester.

Nope, I've seen it display the wrong speed limit or not show one several times. Even after updating the map info.
For comparison, Google occasionally doesn't show the speed limit, but can't say I've ever seen it display the wrong one (not including construction/ work zones).
