Still lurking...still reading...still searching....

This XT has just popped up on Autotrader - anyone know it?
[black 2.5 XT, £11995]

Apologies for posting but with the mods described:
- Prodrive alloys
- Upgraded strut brace
- Upgraded springs
- Upgrade brakes
...surely a member (I will curse if I've missed it on this forum.)?

cheers

Any comments on the pricing or general thoughts?

Thanks for trying.
Auto Trader has been experiencing technical difficulties today....
I couldn't post the link due to forum rules - <15 posts
It should work with the h t t p : / / bit in front

The car looks just what I'm after - don't want to be too keen but I need to ask them if its also got the PPP package - if it was a bit cheaper I'd've already set off!

also here
BHP AUTOS | Stock

looks like the owner kept all the original parts and they are included - that is always a good sign - plus a set of winter rims is very handy.

Overpriced though - what you would expect from a trader - they get few customers these days so have to fleece the ones they do get ( not that they diodn't always do that!)

I would go for a fresh import every time at that sort of money - but, if you are hell bent on a UK car...

Thanks
Going off Parkers (£12k) - which I imagine is way over Glass' - the price is ok with the mods, especially if it has PPP too but then its £3k over other standard 2.5's which have come and gone, which would leave ME the £3k+ to mod....
I like a sunroof and it looks more agricultural - i.e. more of a sleeper - than the better looking facelift, like the one for sale at Litchfield but then that's 300bhp....
aarrgghh
Unfortunately the original parts are for sale separately...

Surely that's the grill & bumper assembly from an pre-03, rather than an MY06 55...?

I thought the front stayed the same until they changed the engine 2005/2006?
I've seen other 05s and and 06 with what I think is the same front end?
Will post pics once I get to 15 posts....

...you guys are invaluable by the way...thanks

4 posts to go before I can add pictures but I'm going to cheat....
I've uploaded 3 pics of post 03 front ends - to my eye they look the same - what is/are the differences I should be looking for - do you think its a pre-03 STi bumper?

Actually the more I look at the the more it looks right. Headlights are definitely right for the age. Bumper spots looked out of proportion of the advert but they look more in-keeping here.

The change in front end came in with the MY06 (D) version.

This commenced build in March 05 and would have arrived in the UK around Nov 05 onwards.

Vehicle shown is probably a late registered MY05 (the 05 was the first to have the 3 spoke steering wheel).
