I am getting a new one and am wondering will I notice anything different in the way it drives? I have a 2002 Forester L with 124,000 miles. I have the head gaskets replaced, timing belt and now this. Because I live in Oklahoma and my Forester has a California transmission I am having to have it done by the Subaru dealership so hopefully no more big repairs for awhile. I do love my Forester.

If your old converter was clogged, you may notice a power increase although it will probably be slight given the overall power of these engines, good luck with it.
