Seen and driven the new Charger, nice car. But the Challenger just has something a bit more to it.Benrock05201 said:What about the Charger? It's in mass production. Avalable now. And one of the models has some OK numbers.
Ben
Hy there. Which one? This one? 280HP...Hondaslayer said:I know.
The utility would be lost as well.
My wife is getting an 06 Legacy soon.
I'll just keep her OBS around for now
Definitely better for posing. For fun I would have to take the STI tho.Hondaslayer said:Cruise Woodward with both and see which gets more respect.

It can not be any worse than trying to keep up with a modded FXT! I mean first you do the mods, then you have to upgrade more to support those mods. Fore example, you do your bolt ons, then you decide to go sti with it so you get the turbo and ecu/tuning done. Then you think I need a bigger turbo. so you get injectors, pump and say a 20G. then you say I need colder air so you either get a huge tmic and run less boost than what the turbo is capable of (defeats purpose imo) or fab up an fmic + more ecu tuning. Now you are dropping some good numbers on the car and clank, time for the $5000 tranny build with some nice strong gears. while you are in there you go ahead and get the clutch done. Now you are good and strong but need to stop the car at the next light after whipping up on a Viper. So Big breaks are in order. But your 17's do not clear the rotors so you have to order so new wheels and tires of course. Now it stops but it handles for SHI7 so you do the suspension which includes struts/springs or co's, sway bar, new end links and better lateral arms.... Man, this is just a rediculous hobby!SuperRu said:There will always be prettier models out there. But in the long run you might find yourself waking up each day with a high maintenance nightmare.
Sad, but... this is the truth... we are running to upgrade one item after the other in order to satisfy (sometimes) only our ego... But then again, why are we living for...???DAMWAGN said:It can not be any worse than trying to keep up with a modded FXT! BTW, I am still waiting for my new FAT axle back to arrive to change out the old 3" grapefruit launcher I have. I will also have to get some tires in the spring to install my new rims that cost me less (minus shipping) than the damn Rays lug nuts that are going on them! See what I mean!
I completely agree! That Challenger is pretty cool.Hondaslayer said:The Camaro was O.k, the opening around the headlamps seems a bit too small though.
The Challenger OTOH, Hawt.
You forgot the stereo system, suspension, interior, exterior...etc.DAMWAGN said:It can not be any worse than trying to keep up with a modded FXT!
