Apologies if this has been posted and/or answered elsewhere but I need to travel across Japan tomorrow on an expressway that has just introduced the compulsory use of tyre chains in times of heavy snowfall. Wouldn't you know it, a big snow storm is due to hit the region tonight and I am therefore preparing to christen my new snow chains! I'm fairly sure that I should be putting them on the front wheels but have read conflicting advice online. Could anyone confirm the position? Thanks in advance!

PS I should add that I am a newbie Fozzy owner and have never used chains before, hence the question.

Thanks @Kevin. Thought that was the case and that was what I did when I test-fitted them this afternoon, but just wanted to be sure. Thanks again - much appreciated!

Pics below of the ones I've bought. The only concern I have is the gap between the tyre and turret, since I'm running taller (215/65) than standard (215/55) studless tyres. Will just have to see what happens tomorrow!!
