Ok, so i go to college in flagstaff now and i need chains if i ever want to go anywhere in the snow and ice up here. Subaru specs say that you should get chains for low profile cars and the biggest tire you should have is P 215/60-R16 and i have P 225's. has anyone tried putting chains on the front wheels of a my99 foz with my size tires??

Is it required to run them? If not, get snow tires. Better usability.

If you are having that much trouble you obviously need new tires. We get just as much as you do and I don't have any issuse with my all seasons. I would prefer snows for the winter only but it isn't in my budget for this year.
