Man two for two! I can be hired as a consultant if you like. Glad you got it sorted and at this point I would strongly consider a remote tune. There are so many reputable shops that do it now. I have a remote tune for the simple fact that the nearest "good" tuner is around six hours away.
I have a place about an hour away that I'll have tune the car from now on. They've got an outstanding rep and were insanely friendly and knowledgeable when I visited them last week.

You are on a roll haha! I should just ask you next time I have a problem instead of posting on the forums

So I found and fixed all of my air leaks, have the Perrin Turbo Inlet Hose installed along with a new STI pedal set - needless to say, my Forester idles perfect, runs perfect, and makes me happy to drive again(?)! It's apparently had this massive air leak since I bought it and never ran decently so I'm thrilled to have things finally fixed

Also.... I may or may not have added Launch Control and Flat Foot Shifting  Man this thing is fast now! I'll upload some pics soon as well :D

I was feeling rather crafty today and decided to finally try and tackle the task of creating a gauge housing for my boost, and new oil pressure gauges! I had bought a navigation pod for the top of my dash about a year ago which would be the perfect location for the two gauges. After checking a few places in town, I found some Lexan (plexiglass) bought a few pieces and got to work. I plan on covering the clean plexiglass with black vinyl in the next week or so but for now just mounted the gauges on the clear backing as shown in the pictures. Part of this process included fitting an oil sender adapter which was not an easy task at all. On the bright side, I went ahead and redid the wiring for both gauges and made it all neat and professional-looking (plus I won’t have a tangled mess to deal with anymore!). Once I finish connecting the wires and get the gauge housing in the car, I’ll be sure to post some more photos!

Turns out my leak was not fixed and it ended up being a broken evap purge solenoid that has given me all this grief. Ordered a new one for $120 through my local Subie dealer, installed it last night and holy hell...

I was considering trading in the Foz but now I don't think I'll ever let go of it! It feels like I had a brand new engine installed or something. My car is fast. Really, really fast. It pulls like ... nothing I've ever felt before and I'm dying to get it on a dyno for some numbers. 0-60 is definitely around 4 seconds.

After I fix my oil leak, I'll be ordering summer rims and Brembos. I'm so excited to own this car now. I can't even put my joy into words.

Also, I painted my gauge pod thing... I'll post pics soon

Me so happy

^ Thanks! They're only 8" wide.. I thought that would be good enough but it isn't.... Could I run spacers for a more aggressive look?! Any suggestions?

P.S. I'm still planning on some DPTs - possibly 18x9e35s for my "real" summer set (I want new tires for track days!).

You could spacer that biatch, but you'd want the bolt-on type if you go more than 3mm.
How much spacer is up to you as well. I would guess a 10mm? I might run a 10-15mm spacer on my beater when I mount the SVN's on there.
