very nice. DPTs are awesome. What color you thinking?

And as I commented (at length lol) in your other thread, I think you are best off with 245/45-17 tire size...

they should...
Thanks :D I'll probably go with them then!
(You definitely had an impact on the DPT choice too haha)

I'm thinking of Sport Bronze (not the gold, flashy ones) and I did see your posts over there, thanks for the input! I think 245/45s it is!

Annnnnd, here's some eye-candy! I'm getting everything painted when the 5-day forecast doesn't call for precipitation and when the temperature is over 50* (so hopefully next week!).

Nice update, but it's filthy...
Meh.. It snowed, rained, was 50* and sunny, and then rained and snowed again yesterday. It was clean the night before :(
meh, mine is flithy too... the weather doesn't know what it wants to do this spring.
Updates to come within the next 24 hours! Putting my painted bumper etc back on tonight so expect beautiful photos soon :D

Next Up: Replace front endlinks and buy new wheels!

Thanks! The bumper still looks too "new" but it's plastic so I guess I can't buff it without risking melting it :p

Did you ever get around to finding out about your headlight wiring?
Looking good Dempsey! Now is a good time to do a clear bra to keep the paint in good condition. :icon_wink:
Very nice!
Thanks!

I don't know about that one! I've heard that it'll make your paint look too new compared to the parts without the bra on it??
Thanks!

Eh, I suppose that's true if the rest of the paint is faded. That said, it wouldn't hurt to at least do the front of the hood.:icon_biggrin:
WOW!! Looks great! Now the chick just put new scratch on your bumper!! :)

Maybe I will then! it won't be long before this thing sees dirt roads again!!

Haha yeah but I'll make her buff it out and take some more pics ;)
Thanks guys and Mike, what on earth is all this we wa-ing about??
So today I'm going to see if I can get a sponsorship / partnership with a local alignment place as I'm now tackling my clunky suspension bits and ugly, narrow wheel issues *hint hint*

I'm also going to try and refinish my roof rails - they're turning grey and have dark spots where the warning stickers used to be. Any suggestions on this one? I think I'll start with some armor all and see what happens

Ooooh and I also updated the first post of this journal with all of the mods this car has done to it, plus a sweet photo I took last night :icon_wink:
