yaa i agree with Silke... get more suspension mods, i did the 04 sti steering rack and the 05 sti MC/booster/cusco brace and its a different car!! and by far my favorite mods

should think of upgrading brakes as well need some stopping power for that 20g

Alright so less than 2 weeks until I get my summer wheels! How cool is that?!

This Friday I'm getting a partial 90k service done, since I've already done plugs, belts, and oil.

In a month I'll be getting a tune and might just skip out on the CAI...

Apart from that, I don't think I'm gonna get my hands on an '04 steering rack so I think I heard about bushings or something? Might just go that route, then new struts and after that maybe brakes if I'm feeling it.

Will that CAI really help your lean condition? If you can verify that it will, it's not a bad idea with that giant turbo. If not, don't bother. Not worth it.

I just put one of these on my Forester. There's a couple hoses from the valve covers and the PCV that go into the intake manifold that have blow-by gases. Basically the hoses go into the air oil separator and particles and whatnot have the chance to separate from the clean air back into the intake manifold. As engines get older, blow-by gets worse because the pistons don't make such a good seal against the block.

I assume that my detonation and my o2 sensor got fouled because of this blow-by crap, so I hope the catch can was a good addition...I have pics of it in my journal if you care to look.

So a little update and a kind of unexpected decision was made recently by me...

I'm currently waiting on a new radiator, as I cracked mine a few weeks ago and things have gone downhill from there. Should arrive on Tuesday so I'll get that installed when I find the time.

At the end of the month, I'm going to (finally) order KYB struts for an '04 Impreza Sedan. I've got my fingers crossed that they fit!!

I'm also going to be ordering a racing harness and then in May I'll be getting a tune.. Summer tyres are going to be ordered around the same time as well!

And if you haven't already figured it out, I'm thinking of getting a DD (n/a Impreza) at some point this year and if that happens, the Foz will get stripped and will get full under body armor, a roll cage, etc etc.. Think stage rally.

It's getting to be an annoying car to daily drive and I know I'm going to end up dead or with tickets / no license if I don't do something about it! gotta keep it though, I think it was meant to be a race car!

I just picked up the lgt rears and the lgt spec b fronts are on their way, but I might need more stuff to make the fronts work...

I want colored brakes but for some reason I would only want them if they were opposing pistons, like the Wrx 4/2 pots, or Brembos. But alas I'm, poor.

Hmm... maybe one day I'll be able to afford bigger brakes... but wait, then I could't run small wheels for rally action :biggrin:
