i tried on my friends coke white rota grids, which is off his scion tc, just to see what the fitment is like. i plan on doing the same rims except in hyperblack (18x9.5 +38). Fitment feels good, no rubbing (yet), but i dont like that wheel gap it causes, especially in the rear. His tires are 225/40/18. I am currently on wrx struts/ blue prodrive springs.

MY QUESTION: how big of a tire can i go without running into rubbing. I plan on doing a fender roll if i have to, but thats all i want to do. i was thinkin 245/40/18, but a lot of people are telling me 235/45/18. I do want to fill up that gap a little more.

Wheels are filthy..why white!!..And tires are stretched, but I am digging your thoughts and personally think this wheel is one of the best looking rotas.. once you get wider than 9''.
9.5 wide:
track tires..at least 255/40
street tires somewhere near 245/45

**possible rear roll & 5mm spacer (front tbd) ,

245 is even too small for a 9.5, minimum you are going to need 255s! and w/ 9.5s youll need to pull the fenders, not only roll them!

I like the white too, unless you're going to panda it out (at least a black hood). Hit up Deviant on here...he has a super low foz w/ aggressive wheels -- he may be able to help you with fitment
