Next, received my Prosport Boost Gauge and SolidMod vent pod. Was a bit skeptical on the gauge because of all the mixed reviews but figure i could just grab an Autometer later on in case.

The vent pod is a pretty solid piece and works as advertised. I purchased it from Home - SOLiDmod

All parts waiting to go in.

First, carefully pry out the driver vent

Didn't get other pictures to put the new vent in but it was a few clips to set it in. After all said and done here is the final result.

Well traveled quite a bit with the foz and loved every minute of it!

First off, to follow up with my DIY headlight blackout mod, Im gonna have to crack it back open. Got some heavy rain recently and welcomed me with this.

So this weekend I got some 3M Window Weld to reseal the whole thing again. Previously I just used the old sealant along with automotive goop.

Well now, weekend after Xmas I drove down to Tampa to pick up some WRX take offs to throw on. I still need to pick up saggy butt spacers before the install.

Later that week I went on a New Year's trip with some friends up to Northwestern GA as well as additional destinations to US 129 and Gatlinburg, TN.

This car was such a blast driving through the mountains accelerating effortlessly up the terrain.

I seriously can't wait to head back up there!

My first time driving through Atlanta!

Always go to Daytona International Speedway so I wanted to check out this place! Too bad they were closed. Saggy butt due to luggage hahaha!

Up at our cabin for a couple days! Completely astonishing the scenery!

After the stay we traveled from NW Georgia to Gatlinburg, TN via US 129. It took, what seemed forever but it was worth it!

coming along nicely. With some buffing you should be able to pull the yellow out of those headlights and give it a cleaner look. Also be sure to pick up a sports grill!!

so got a quick question, for you guys. someone is selling an SPT cbe off his 07 STI locally. Would it bolt up fine to my vehicle? I know that it may be a couple inches short of the bumper.

Happy new year everyone! Hope you all had a nice safe holiday!

So I had a question about my wheel bearing... Would it be better to replace the whole hub along with the bearing or just replace the bearing itself and use the same hub?

Just a little info... The bearing has been making noise most of 2015 so not sure how much damage has been done to the hub.

Quick little update... so unfortunately I got laid off from a job the beginning of February but found another in March. Kind of enjoying it now since I don't travel all the time so I get to spend more time with the fozzy as well as rack up them miles! There are quite a bit of add-ons i've done since as well as some issues that I need to address.

My car now has around 130,000 miles on it and the radiator is finally showing signs of letting go. There are signs of leaking around the top plastic endtank on the passenger side. I do have a aftermarket OEM replacement on the way and hopefully I get to slap that in this weekend.

The radiator will be a TYC #13026 for my 2006 XT that i've ordered from Amazon. (added those details in there to make it easy for other people to search.) Heard it was decent so gonna use that temporarily until I up the power and go with a all aluminum one.

The wheel bearing issue exists and I'm hoping to take care of that by the end of the month. It is something that I hate to be dragged out this long.

Well anywho, those are my major issues. Let's see how much my car has changed in the last year!

August 2015
More cosmetic items came in. Got my JDM Hazard button and it looks sharp! To me at least. I like how it contrasts the gray of the center console. Also threw in a Pioneer AVH-X3700BHS head unit which isn't too shabby! And also some DEPO OEM style Forester Sports Tails.

Plasti-dipped the XT Limited grill was a very simple mod to do! Just pop the 6 push clips holding the grill into the bumper and pull out! (thats what she said?)

Lookin good! I like the way the plastidip looks on your grille. I've thought about doing it to mine, but with the car already being as black as it is, I kinda like the little bit of chrome accent up there. Do you have any pics of the BRZ wheels on there?

Well I finally managed to get my new radiator dropped in. Wasn't painstakingly terrible but it did take my time because I didnt wanna snapped bolts, stripped screws, or other surprises on a straightforward swap.

Here are the two radiators side by side. Replacement I used was TYC #13026 . Fitment is on par with OEM with some slight shoving here and there.

It has been a couple weeks since I had it in and so far all systems good!

My decision for an OEM style replacement was mainly budgetary (plus Amazon next day). I know there's Mishi and Koyo all alum I could've gone with but being 4EAT I would've had to spend more for a separate transmission cooler. Later on down the road when I start making my power mods I'll have those in there!

Also simple mod I did sometime back..apparently the cabin fuse box cover was just that....a cover. Can't remember why it was just that but anyway...I hit up Jackie aka SubaruPartsGirl and she supplied me with the parts I needed for the pocket!

Coin Box - 66170SA001EU (beige)
Spring Clip- 66267SA000

Also, you may need to supply your VIN for the correct fuse panel sticker.

Now I have an extra pocket for coins!
