Hi everyone,
So I though I'd start a journal of my FXT04. Here we go!
My name is Frederick. I'm from Quebec, Canada and yes I'm french!:raspberry:
I bought the FXT at the beginning of Mars. I made 200KM to see and buy it. (There's not a lot to be found around here). Back then it had only 91000KM on it.
It's now at about 94000KM.
Modification so far.
Modification I want
Maintenance required
So far really love the car. It got power, practicality, good looks, good exhaust note and not everyone has one.
This weekend I washed, clayed and buffed it.
I buffed it with a 7424XP to remove scratch and blemish. To my surprise it was quite easy and effective. It didn't remove all the scratch because some are just too big. But it did a very good job on most of it. It's easy to do but very time consuming. I passed about 12 hours on the car all week end.
I also tried Dr.ColorChip on chip and road rash. I was expecting a lot more from this product. The product goes on easily but removing the excess was really hard and when finally it's being remove it also remove it from the chip. Anyway I will probably try it again. Maybe I was just too tired, I don't know. But so far Im not impress.
I still need to polish it and wax it.
PS: Some photo will come later
