I have a 04 Forester XT. I have a stock shifter lever from a 99 Impreza.

1. Is it shorter than the stock xt lever?

2. anyone use this set up, and have a pic.

The stock shifter on my 00 Forester L is 11 and 9/16th of an inch or 29.5cm from the top of the shift knob threads to the ball joint end. Not sure if they changed it on an 04. I switched to a GC8 Impreza short shifter from Kartboy and it was considerably shorter. Not sure if that's just how Kartboy makes them.
