I found a whole bottle of the subject oil in my stash. I know it's not synthetic. I carefully read the bottle, and I don't see it saying that it has any limited slip friction modifiers.

So, is this stuff usable in a 5MT in a pinch?

What GL rating? You need GL5 for the subaru 5MT, many other oils are GL4.

80W won't do cold shifts any favours either.

I wouldn't use 80w90.

It is GL5.

Like I said, in a pinch emergency.

Coldest it gets where I live is about upper 30s.
