Hi all, I'm looking for second opinions on a bumper. I have been working on a 3/16 inch thick sheet steel bumper for SnG and to give it a little bit more aggression. It's all welded up now and I am about to begin tabbing it up for mounting, but I am not sure how I want to go about the rad support.

Option 1: Leave it and build my skid plate/lower half around it, trying to conceal it at much as possible. Easy, but doesn't help too much. It would be something like this:

Option 2: Chop it up, throw some 1/4" on the frame to cap it, then throw a 1.5" ish tube underneath with new support tabs. I would gain about an inch of clearance up front and it would look much better:

Any opinions are much appreciated, thank you!

Option 2 all the way.
Seeing that you've created that bumper thus far makes me think the finished product will look awesome.

Option 1 would not look anywhere near as "finished" know what I mean?

Killer work though! looking great.

Thanks! Yeah I have been leaning towards option 2, the only downside is that it is my daily do I need to look for a time slot where I can be out for a few days, same as the lift I am doing. Thanks for your input though!
