I have a 2015 Forester. The vehicle has a MAP sensor, an accelerator pedal position sensor and a mass air flow sensor. I did not see a TPS in the wiring diagrams. Is there a forum member that knows which sensor communicates the WOT condition to the ECM?

The Forester normally shuts down the AC at WOT but the AC clutch may take up to 15 minutes to re-engage. Turning the vehicle off and on resets the sensor and the AC clutch engages normally again.

Just to close the loop on this one. The problem had nothing to do with wide open throttle. The AC compression clutch would randomly engage and then disengage. This problem was the air gap for the compressor clutch was out of spec. Unfortunately, Subaru does not sell just a clutch/coil kit. So, you have to replace the whole compressor. We are going to check if shims can correct the problem before ordering a new compressor.
