So I accidentally rode up on a curb that was buried in some sand (parking lot at the beach) and botched up the sidewall on one of my front wheels. My understanding is that with the sidewall being all screwed up, I can't just patch it, I have to replace it.
My tires are very new, they probably have around 6000 miles on them. I'd rather avoid getting a whole new set —*would I be crazy just to replace the one tire at 6,000 miles and maybe rotate the tires every 1000 miles for awhile? It would just be a huge bummer to have to replace all the tires so soon. Thoughts?
