My secondary air pump got stuck and decided to replace it instead of blocking it off since I was able to get one for cheap. It appears like a pretty simple job but how easy will it be to swap it out? Is it a simple bolt on? Any tips or suggestions will be helpful.

Replacing the pump is pretty straightforward. Trouble is, there is more to the system. Each pair of cylinders has a valve and these fail just as often as the pump. One is accessible, the other is not so much.

To be honest, if you fix it, it will break again later. Much better to junk the whole lot and map it out. (Was told recently that you can only do this on an XT. Non turbo doesn’t have the option.)
