I'm not seeing a valid way to search the forum... but still need help.

2014 forester

problem - plastic connection tube between clear tube section in wiper cowl is broken. I can see it's broken... and have the part to fix that problem... BUT, I am not sure how to remove the clips to grant me access to inside the wiper cowl.

the clips have square heads and appear to be a push in "one time only" type of use clip.

here is a link to google photos of the clip type.

suggestions?

The forum search is is a top priority that we have been hownding the site owners about. Without some sort of advanced search the site is virtually useless. We recently got the CEO's attention and I have a good feeling this will be corrected soon.

@pixelmonkey a flat screw driver to pry up from either side or buy a forked clip remover tool from
your FLAPS. Buy a supply of the clips b4hand...even the best mech's have poor luck with them.

Lift the corner pieces off but don’t remove. Lift off the top clips then the bottom clips. Use a plastic trim tool or a metal one very carefully. Pry up from the center of the clips, not the square edges.
