2004 XT, 68,000 miles and the clutch is finally gone. It is driveable, but as soon as I hit high PSI boost, it just slips, revs shoot up, and I get nowhere fast. :)

Anyway, 16g turbo, roughly 280-300hp atw, 350 tq. atw.

Probably going to retain the stock flywheel.

Should I get an OEM clutch, or upgrade to slightly stronger. I lean towards OEM because I have $200.00 in Suby bucks.

Thoughts and suggestions?

Glad to see that you're still running around in here Jason.... Did you ever make a decision on the Clutch? and if so, did you do the install yourself, or have someone local do it?

I finally got a few mods on my forester, and I'd love to meet up some time soon if you got the free time

Also, FWIW.... I used an RPS clutch on my STi and even at 450whp, it engaged like stock and held up incredibly well.

you have the 200 subie bucks, just replace it w/ another stocker! just make sure to have your flywheel resurfaced.

if you want to go the aftermarket route, i recommend the ACT. whatever you do, dont get an exedy stg1 organic, they suck!
