I had a timing belt break on me about a month ago, I finished rebuilding the motor yesterday and got it back into my FXT and it wouldnt start.

I checked my connections, and I cant see any that I misssed
The spark plugs are new and the coil packs almost never go bad
I checked fuel and sure enough the fuel has gone bad, so I drained and replaced

But my motor still wont start, It doesnt even act like it wants to, it just turns over.

my question is could bad gas still be in the fuel rails?

are there any other things to check that I am looking over?

It will generally sputter at least if you have bad gas. Hoew's it sound when it's spinning over? Really fast, slow, or normal? Got to go back to basics first. (See previous post)

it sounds like normal when it spins, slows down as the battery dies

Have you actually verified?:
-it has spark
-is getting fuel
-has compression

Knowing what is missing or is off will give us a place to start to begin helping you.
Example, Lack of spark could be a bad crank or cam position sensor, pinched/ loose wires.........

are you sure youre t-belt is well installed on dots ( if off by 1 tooth, wont start). have you replaced cranck pouly. if so, that may be the cause.

I think he means the crank pulley that the timing belt rides on. Most timing belts will have dots that will line up with this pulley to set up the timing belt.
