I was trying to ask this on scoobymods since CsabaH has photos but I'm in no man's land: Can't send email, messages, or start new threads.
Anyway, I'm curious about the location of the first hole (that needs to be drilled from the inside) Is this it? Do you just drill in the center of the circle the arrow is pointing to?
Yep. Drill a 1/8" or small hole in that circle and use it to line up the templates. Then measure the inner hole spread and compare it to the spread on the spoiler. It doesn't take much to be way off. The final hole will take up over half that circle, and sometimes it wont be dead center. That's why I say start with a tiny drill bit.
Drilling that first hole thru the hatch is pretty easy, compared to getting that paper template on correctly! :icon_eek: My upper holes were off a bit... doesn't take much to have the template off a bit. No matter, a slight bit of filing & it fit perfectly. You can view my installation here.
Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on THESE rock sliders for the 19+ Foresters.. I'm looking mostly to have a step to reach things on the roof but also like the looks of sliders on other vehicles. Any other companies make these for the newer Foresters? Anyone install these already?

Got the under spoiler (STI lip) ordered and it arrived super quick. Of course the shipping was more than the part cost so it damn well should arrive fast :)
Install was done in my poor excuse for a driveway without lifting the car. Only...

At first it was sort of funny, but it quickly grew annoying.
There was a check valve that had failed. Here is how to fix it if your car dribbles.
You need one of these.
Remove the styrofoam storage compartment...
Hey everyone,
I'm needing to remove the rear bumper on my 2018 Forester XT to install a Stealth Hitch.
My forester has factory installed wheel arch moldings that I fear are covering up the retainer push clips just inside the wheel well that need to be removed to release the bumper. Does anyone...
I'm picking up our Forester tomorrow. :woohoo: It's a dark gray Limited model.
I'm thinking about adding the OEM body side moldings. We have some on our Jeep Liberty that have done wonders for protecting the doors from dents and dings.
I guess my question is directed towards those who actually...
