I want to replace the stock speakers but the options appear to be very limited. An audio store recommended Boston Acoustics - 6.5" in the front and 5 1/4" in the rear. I read on another site that only 5" will fit in the rear, not 5 1/4". Will someone confirm the actual sizes for me? Any opinions on Boston Acoustics? Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing also, especially in the rears.

The rears are 5" speakers. 5 1/2" won't fit. I got an adapter and installed 4" speakers. The front speakers are standard 6 1/2".

I'm using 4" Sony speakers in the rear and 6 1/2" Panasonic in the front.

+1 for boston acoustics

I have been running boston acoustic NX 67 6.5" front speakers with a alpine head unit for a while now. I am really pleased with the sound quality of the boston acoustics though, very clear sound. Would buy them again in a heart beat. I'm thinking of getting some boston acoustic 4.5" speakers for the rear, and then running a 4-channel amp to all of the speakers. I think this will sound great, these speakers can run a lot of juice.
