Hello,

My rear right passenger door power lock will no longer unlock/lock. It won't do it with the key fob or manually from inside. All other doors/latch work fine. I don't hear any movement inside the door panel when unlocking/locking. Has anyone had this similar issue before? I have tried researching it and seems to be the actuator that may need to be replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had a 2007 Forester XS and the driver's door would not power lock/unlock, but I could lock/unlock by using the key in the keyhole or by moving the knob lever thing on the inside. I ordered an actuator from a dealer and replaced it, problem solved.

In your case since you can't lock/unlock manually from inside, you may want to take the inside of the door off and see what is going on.

Hey thanks for your help! I have a strong feeling its the actuator its self as well. I am going to have to do just that.
