Can anyone tell me where I can find some guidance on removing the rear passenger door panel on a 2013 Forester? I accidently smashed the electric window toggle switch and need to get the window up to travel to the dealership.

Thank you.

Personally, instead of dealing with the door, I'd cover the window with a piece of plastic drop cloth and let the dealer handle the situation.

Why not just buy a new switch?

Granted, I've not taken a Subie door apart...

Every other car The switch comes out and just put another one in. Your other back doors switch should work to temporarily connect in the damaged door.

On this note, won't the driver's switch close the window?

Not usually. The master door switch requires a functional switch in the door itself.

Ie...if both buttons are currently used..the window won't move(even if both switches are being used the same direction).
