i have a stock 98 froster radio and i have very poor reception any help with this one would be great :icon_confused:

Has the radio ever been removed? The antenna, which is in the rear quarter glass, has an amplifier built into it. That lead goes into the radio to get power. Very common issue when installing aftermarket radios that people forget to attach the amp power wire to the "electric antenna" lead location.

I guess it would be possible the antenna amp function has died but I've never heard of that happening.

Double check the connection at the window too. It wouldn't be totally off the wall that one is coming loose

I have a 2010 and sometimes my radio gets a little bit static-y, but fixes itself.. not sure if this is related, just an observation.
