What are the 2 radiator lines on a 4EAT equipped XT that exit the radiator on the driver's side?

More importantly, what fluid runs through those 2 lines?

I'd imagine that this would be transmission fluid, but what came out looked like oil to me.

Which is it?

The two lower nipples on the radiator are for the transmission fluid cooler. If it looks black, it's time for a transmission fluid change.

Can I top it off with plain old Dexron 3 temporarily until I am able to get the fluid changed? I didn't lose much fluid when pulling the radiator, but want to be sure.

Yes, the 4EAT is spec'd to work with any Dexron 3 specification fluids.

Ahh....one more thing. Does the order of the lines matter when putting the radiator back in? I think that their positions speak for themselves, but want to be sure.

^-Yep. The flow is directional so be sure they go back on the same spot as they came off of.
