What are some of the quick dinners everyone eats in a rush. This is not for any "Fast Food" dinners, if you post it must be something you make at home.

My all time Fav quick meal. Grilled cheese and soup!

White bread, bologna, mayo. Cost like -$0.01. Yes, that is a negative to emphasize that it's CHEAP! haha.

Whipped cream and pepperoni (seriously it's tasty, but potent on the stomach lol).

Ramen noodles with scrambled egg+hot sauce makes a spicy egg drop like soup (pour egg in slowly as it boils).

Anything with bologna.

Gravy on toast (broth simmering +50/50 mixture of flour/butter).

Beer. lol.

Here's a relatively quick and simple dinner that's hearty and tasty.

1. Make chili
2. Back Potatoes
3. Cut Potatoe in half, scoop out half of center
4. Fill with Chili

Start eating ! This is a great one for those that freeze their chili. We use it on nights we know we'll be too tired to cook. Take the chilli out that morning then all you need to do is reheat in a pot + wrap potatoes in foil and pop in the oven for about 40 mins @ 400 degrees.

Creamed Chipped Beef on toast

Shred up the Hormel dried beef add to skillet with 1/4 stick of butter, melt butter and add 2-3 tbs of flour mix up till everything's coated with the butter flour mixture then add 4.5 cups of milk and stir while bringing it to a boil, it will thicken up and make a great cream sauce then just put onto toast add a little black pepper and munch. :bananapowerslide:

In the spirit of the quick meal: anything in the crock pot. Prep time is next-to-nothing and you have a hot meal waiting for you when you arrive home. Sure, 8+ hours cooking time isn't exactly quick but the 10 minutes or so hands-on time sure is short.

30-minute meal:
Tortelloni in sauce

Boil up some packaged tortelloni or tortellini (big and small versions of the same thing). Ravioli also works.
Brown a pound of ground beef, pork, or pork sausage.
Add a can of seasoned diced tomatoes.
Season to taste.
Add pasta and serve

Salad:

Cut up a couple tomatoes into large slices, discarding the juice and seeds (or add to the sauce).
Cut up a cucumber, scooping out the seed center.
Slice a red onion.
Optional: mushrooms, red bell pepper
Top with Caesar dressing and blue, Gorgonzola, or feta cheese

Bread:

French bread, cut into slices
Brush on olive oil
Add some seasoning if you want but it's not necessary with the other bold flavors in the meal
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or so.

Top Ramen stir fry!!!!!

Stir fry your favorite veggies (we always use asparagus, onion, yellow peppers, zuchinni and lots of broccoli. You can also add meat as well )

In seperate pot boil two packs of ramen noodles as normal (any flavor will do but we use oriental or chickenure to set flavor packs aside until the last step)

Once veggies are softened, drain ramen noodles and dump on top of veggies

In cup add both packets of seasoning out of ramen pack to one cup hot water and stir until dissolved

Add seasoned water to skillet over veggies and ramen and simmer until cooked down and fluid is absorbed.

This is my EASY EASY meal I make often as the bf always requests it. It's light and relatively healthy with the seasoning already done!

I might be the master of the quick and easy dinner.

My Favorite:

1 pack (1 lb) spicy Italian sausage links
8 oz Pasta of your choice (usually 1/2 a box is 8 oz)
1 jar Classico pesto sauce
Shredded Parmesan cheese (to taste)
Pine nuts (to taste)

Cut and cook the sausage. Boil pasta. Combine pasta and sausage with pesto, cheese, and pine nuts. Werd.

Here's another good one.

Sliced Hogie roll
Salami and/or pepperoni
Prego sauce
Italian cheese

Combine all and put in oven until cheese melts.

Roasted veggies and beef.
throw some cut up red potatoes, green beans, carrots with some EVOO, salt, pepper, sage. Roast in oven at 400-450 for 10-15. During that time take some thin fajita meat and throw on the grill with the same seasoning. Slice up mix with veggies. NOM.

1) get a big bowl...

2) one bag of prepared lettuce mix (ie, Italian mix - just the veggies not a kit)

3) dump the entire bag into the bowl (big bowl)

4) drop some already chopped up carrots in there

5) drop some green olives in, chopped up

6) open a can of black beans at least a day or two earlier, put in a bowl and add hot sauce....dump some of that into the bowl

7) either chop up some broccoli or already chopped up broccoli, drop it in there

8) Then the secret ingredient, Maries Creamy Garlic dressing (OMFG!!!!!!!!)

9) Mix it all up and enjoy in less then 5 minutes....
