Hello All

I have a 2010 2.5X Premium with the Stock 17" Rims.

My question is, do the Stock Rims that come on the 2009 or 2010 XT make the Forester sit a little bit higher?

In some pictures, that's how it looks to me. But wanted to get your guys opinion on that?

The specs on the rims both look the same to me, though, 17" x 7" correct?

I am looking around for the Stock XT Rims and if it makes the Forester sit a little bit higher, that would be nice too. I know that there is about 0.2" more ground clearence, although I dont understand how that is if both sets of rims are about the same specs. Unless, the XT has different shocks or something that make it sit higher.

Any Input would be greatly appeciated, thanks.

The rims, tires, and suspension on the XT are pretty much exactly the same as those on the X Premium. The rims are only different in appearance.

The XT officially has an extra 0.2" of ground clearance but I am pretty sure that is due to differences in the engine and exhaust. It's definitely not due to the wheels or tires.
