For those of you with an SF with heated seats, where do you feel the most heat?

Like, for me, it's the lower back. The butt is heated but it's toward the back of the cushion and not as powerful as the lower back.

Is that how it's supposed to be? I am not sure so I wanted to check, I'm not too keen on ripping apart my upholstery to take a look if this is normal.

I can always tell when the electrical load on the car is high, the seat heaters don't warm up as effectively.

So if I have the fan speed set to high+rear defrost+front defrost+headlights+fog lights+both seat heaters, it takes a long time for the high heat settings to really get the seat warm.

But if I shut off the front and rear defrost, for example, the fan speed jumps up a bit and then the seats get warm quickly.

If I ever need to replace the alternator, I'll go for a slightly more powerful unit.
