If you look inside the drivers side door jamb you will see a metal plate that has the month and year of manufacture. All cars have this.
Production date of vehicle
I'm picking up my 19 Forester next week. Is there a way I can find out the production date of my vehicle with the VIN or VON, etc?

On my 2018 the month and year (but not specific day) of manufacture is on a black plastic sticker down low on the door jam between the front and rear doors.
Thanks I will look when I go see the car, hoping its not one of the ones affected with the power steering problem.
