so it died in the rain tonight (a lil smoke and then it died) checked it out it looks like a idler popped through the cover so im guessing the tbelt broke?

if so where is the best place to buy everything (oem)? im going to be doing this at home (ill get to pull it apart when it stops raining-

Looks like mine did. If you bent valves which it probably did i'd replace the valves and guides and get them reseated along with resurfacing the heads.

May as well replace the water pump and idlers while you're in there.

73,000 miles when it broke im taking it to paul @dbtunning for the work
(wp/tbelt/.valves etc..)

i just paid it off 2month ago :(

Is that a 105K Mi service interval on the belt? Wonder if the Idler/tensioner went then damaged the belt - chicken or egg?
yea i was going to do it @ around 90k (i need a clutch/flywheel as well) i think the idler went and shredded the belt...

least i still have my trusty mazda to run around in

just swapped in a low low mile 2006 wrx motor my old motor was ****ed , ive lost a lot of faith in subaru motors from this :(
im going back to toyotas and mazda's..lol
